The Alabama Department of Revenue has launched ALVerify for the sole purpose of permitting license plate issuing officials to determine whether an Alabama driver license or non-driver identification card is valid pursuant to the provisions of Act 2011-688, commonly referred to as the “Online Insurance Verification System Act.” This site is not to be used for any other purpose.
